Solaris (they/them) is a graduate of Discovery Point School of Massage, which is located in Seattle, WA. They’ve called Whidbey Island home since March of 2022, and are thrilled to begin giving back to the community through massage and healing work. Their training includes a foundation in Swedish massage, neuromuscular and myofascial work, injury recovery, lymphatic facilitation, and Reiki. They will be strengthening their focus on myofascial work for emotional regulation and trauma processing through a mentorship with Dawn Schmidt, LMT in 2024-2025, and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Antioch University New England 2023-2027.

Solaris approaches healing work from a social justice perspective, situating each individual within the larger, often oppressive systems we all live under.
